About Leticia

Leticia Mendoza, with 27 years as an elementary teacher, has been deeply committed to education and community service. She served as past president of the Ross Colorguard Parent Group and has been a dedicated volunteer at Niemes Elementary and the ABC Fun Run. Leticia also contributed to the ABC-USD committee to help preserve schools from shutting down and supported the Friends of the Artesia Library, showcasing her commitment to community resources. From 2014 to 2020, she served on the ABC USD School Board, advocating for classroom modernization, teacher retention, and strong union relations, underscoring her dedication to educational excellence and community well-being.
